Amanda Rainey
Board Treasurer + Operations
Amanda has cared for animals since she could pick up a kitten and got her education for veterinary assisting while still in high school. She’s spent the last decade + working in the nonprofit sector, raising hundreds of millions of dollars for affordable housing as a real estate developer.
She recently retired and is devoting some of her new found free time to do more work with GBF. Amanda has her own senior dog, sassy cat, and is mom to anyone in need. She volunteers for the South Salt Lake Animal shelter and can usually be found in her garden or snuggled up with her family. An avid traveler, Amanda’s goals are simple: pet as many cats and dogs as she can find and leave the world a better place than she found it.
